So I guess, it's a good think I made those worksheets for my Literature class. I got a 3.0! Ha!
This Lit class, which I am taking up with Naomi, is, so far, the most time-consuming subject I've ever had. We have to read like one whole book in a week (okay, two for some...but two weeks aren't still enough). The stories I've read so far are great. Masterpieces. But some just really brings me headache. Like Margaret Atwood's Blind Assassin. The story is great...almost exceptional. The writing is wonderful. But it's just confusing and difficult to read. It's a story that tells of another story, and it has another story inside it. The way the story is structured made me want to skip some chapters (but then again, that wouldn't be a good idea). I was more inclined to find out what really happened to Laura than read the love story of the blind assassin and the mute girl. The book is 500+ pages long, and there is no way one can carefully read the whole thing in two weeks.
Anyway, I've managed to finish it. Now, I have to read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Love in the Time of Cholera. And I have to finish it by Saturday. gas! I've actually read this before. But I think I forgot what the story is about. Oh well....
Yeah, I'm really glad I did the worksheets.
