as if anybody cares.

oh well. i'm here at my new work in makati. i've been here for two weeks and one day, and i can count using my fingers how many days i've actually worked on something. people keep telling me to enjoy this down time because once we start working, we will really START working. maybe even longer than our usual schedule.

i'm supposed to submit my revised paper before july 30. and i have done zilch. shet. will probably cram again. oh gosh. i can't do that again.

And if I could add one more wish...let the job be in Singapore. or Australia. Or even in New Zealand. Just please tell them to get me. Hire me! I promise I will work harder than I have ever worked before, and I will TRY to be more responsible in everything I do :)

weird kamiseta policies

*I should have taken a photo of these fitting rooms kaya lang nawala na sa isip ko dahil naiinis, nafru-frustrate at nawe-weirdohan ako kanina.

I visited the kamiseta branch at Robinson's Place Malate today. I was about to fit two dresses which I liked, but was surprised when I found out that their fitting rooms did not have any doors nor curtains as cover. When I asked two sales ladies, the manager and the guard about this, they couldn't give me a straight, logical answer. The answers they gave me were:

a. customers crowd over to the fitting rooms that's why they removed the doors/curtains
b. there was a mall-wide sale, and customers are not (in reality, as per the manager) allowed to fit the clothes they want
c. the customers are only allowed to fit the clothes ON TOP of the clothes they are already wearing
d. the management thinks that it's okay not to put doors because nobody else can see the people trying on/fitting the clothes anyway
e. IT IS KAMISETA'S POLICY NOT TO PUT DOORS/CURTAINS ON THE FITTING ROOMS WHENEVER THERE IS A SALE.

These answers are so ridiculous. I don't think anybody would feel comfortable to dress up/fit clothes in front of strangers.

If this is indeed their policy, it is very disturbing.

i don't know how i've managed to miss watching this movie. i've read about this in blogs and in a few showbiz news, but i never really had the interest to look it up and watch it. until fairly recently. i finally decided to do some research and find out what it's about. i found the movie trailer, and oh. my. god. i immediately thought, "i have to watch this!" so, being the scrooge that i am, i asked ross to download it. i finally got to watch a few hours later...and i love it. i just love it. i love it more than juno.


i was also able to download (yay internet!) the soundtrack. yay!
