this country is full of crap.

this is the headline for today:
CA: Smith not guilty of rape

i wonder if their whole drama was a set up. i mean, including the arrests and the courtroom bruhaha and the bitch's recantation... what if they actually planned the whole thing? man, that woman is wise. if all filipinas were like her, every woman here now would be millionaires!

and now, she's allegedly with her NEW american boyfriend in the states. this country is just full of crap.

"you were created for teaching"

i was talking to my thai friend, nik, yesterday. i was ranting and complaining to him how i hate my job now. that i don't have the drive anymore. so here's how the conversation went... (he's thai, so pardon the english)

patricia (4/21/2009 3:21:41 PM): but im really really trying to find another work
patricia (4/21/2009 3:21:46 PM): i hate it here
nik (4/21/2009 3:22:09 PM): oh
nik (4/21/2009 3:22:23 PM): what s happen
patricia (4/21/2009 3:22:29 PM): here?
patricia (4/21/2009 3:22:42 PM): problems with the management
nik (4/21/2009 3:22:47 PM): hm
patricia (4/21/2009 3:22:51 PM): plus i dont have any drive to work anymore
patricia (4/21/2009 3:22:56 PM): i need another work
patricia (4/21/2009 3:23:02 PM): something more fulfilling
nik (4/21/2009 3:23:24 PM): it s time for working in school, i think
patricia (4/21/2009 3:23:44 PM): im actually thinking about getting a job in instructional design
nik (4/21/2009 3:23:45 PM): you were created for teaching

i was touched with what he said. the idea played on my head. maybe i really am. (haha. kapal ko.) then i remembered how i used to play school when i was a kid. how i used to tell my mom that i wanted to be a teacher like my teachers at school because...i don't know...i really liked them, and at that time, teaching other people really interested me. then i remembered that i also taught some of the kids in our neighborhood. (my mom liked to...as in was fond of...volunteer us (me and my brother) to church activities. the last thing she pushed us into doing was to teach kids the rosary and engage them in some church activities.) the stint only lasted for two weeks, but i remember liking the feeling of having kids that i teach really participate in the activities that i come up with. i liked making lessons and stuff for them. so maybe, MAYBE i can be really be a teacher after all. or maybe i'm really meant for that.

my only problem is my stage fright. i hate hate hate talking in front of a large audience, except when i have no other choice but do so.

hmm...have to think...

mushroom cloud

ross and i saw this mushroom cloud on our way home from harrison plaza. for a minute, i thought an atomic bomb had just exploded. wahaha.
